All had been Commandos. Jeep was advertising its entire line underneath the theme "The two-Car Cars," a reference to their usefulness as both fun cars and work automobiles.
As in 1969, the 1970 line consisted of the Roadster, Pick-Up, Station Wagon, and the detrimmed Convertible. A detrimmed Convertible was added to the Commando sequence to allow for a lower worth, which now began at $3,005, making it cheaper than the $3,113 Station Wagon. For 1971, Jeep introduced two specially trimmed Jeepster Commando Station Wagons.
Although the Jeepster Commando had lots to offer, the interior decor was not particularly engaging -- it was, truly, fairly spartan. Read on to learn more about the Jeepster Commando`s inside features. There have been scant changes to the Jeepster line for 1969, the addition of aspect marker lights being the obvious.
But it surely can be two years earlier than the brand new proprietor could make any substantial changes to the Jeep product line. Two thin full-length stripes ran alongside the higher fender line. Still, the Jeepster was consistent with the times. This was still, in spite of everything, a Jeep, so a certain amount of four-wheeling experience was expected by the testers. |
